Matrix Pop-style work of art.

Matrix Pop includes the style that was popularized by well-known artist Andy Warhol with his silkscreen studies of Marilyn Monroe. Interesting variations are possible by varying colors (e.g. pastel, intense, coordinating, or opposing), the number of "panels" (e.g. 2x2, 3x4, etc.), and the level of detail in the main focal point. In addition, the pointilist or halftone style used by Roy Lichtenstein is another pop art option.

The example to the right (entitled "Amanda Pop") is displayed as a 2x2 Matrix Pop. Please click on the image to the right for a higher resolution before and after version.
